I believe learning is a lifelong process.   There’s always something new and challenging to learn about. I think it's never too late to learn, if you keep an open mind and an enquiring spirit.

LECTURER

I am a qualified as a teacher in further and adult education (Cert. Ed.,) and have had many years of experience in a wide range of settings, with a wide range of students and abilities (See Biog).

• Currently lecturing occasionally in journalism at Middlesex University and screenwriting at the London College of Communications (University of the Arts), at BA and MA levels;  
•  Previously taught at several institutions, including further and adult education colleges, universities and English Language schools, including the City Literary Institute, University of London Extra Mural Studies, University of Sussex, University of Tubingen (West Germany), Eurocentres; Director of Studies and the Logos Tutorial Centre, 'O' and 'A' Level tutor at Sussex Tutors, language tuition at University of Tubingen, West Germany.
  
• Worked as a campaigner in Further Education for the National Union of Students for three years (see Biog) in Research and Development Department, promoting 16-19 educational change; lecturing to students and presenting to the press (Writer, Broadcaster).
• Extensive campaigning and media work on a wide range of women’s rights and other issues.
  
• Campaigned for the National Council for Civil Liberties (now Liberty) for three years as Women’s Rights Officer
• Have worked as a Tutor/Courier for the American Institute for Foreign study, taking American students round Europe for long tours, giving lectures on culture, art, history and literature;
• I’ve also taught counselling for the Re-Evaluation Co-Counselling network for fourteen years, running workshops for over 200 people, or training groups and one-to-one counsellors (see Psychologist).

SPEAKER

I am a seasoned speaker, and can provide a wide range of talks for conferences, events, after-dinner occasions.  Good at impromptu speaking, as an experienced broadcaster and lecturer.  My television and radio experience, coupled with my psychological and journalistic training, stands me in good stead.
