Deliver Me From Evil

Deliver Me From Evil

A sadistic foster mother, a childhood torn apart.
By Alloma Gilbert (with Corinne Sweet) – Pan MacMillan, 2008

Alloma Gilbert had the unfortunate misfortune to be fostered by Eunice Spry, a woman who used her twisted ‘religious’ beliefs to abuse and terrify children in her ‘care’. Alloma spent eleven horrendous years (from six-years-old) being tortured, starved, beaten and hurt in an isolated rural farmhouse. She finally escaped at 17, but was only saved by the birth of her baby daughter who finally taught her what love is.
