Psychotherapist & Psychologist
We all need to tell our stories, and to be listened to. We all need to find our ‘voice’, and be heard. Therapy is a process of healing through talking, and relating to one another. As a ‘Humanistic’ psychotherapist I aim to help people work out who they are and what they want, at whatever stage of life they are at. Whether in crisis, or contemplating change, or wanting to give up a bad habit, or simply want to feel better about who you are, I am very happy to talk to you to see if we can work together. As a therapist, I have had a long relationship with therapy myself, so I am used to being on both sides of the couch. I can offer Gestalt, CBT, Mindfulness, Formative or simply can listen. I can also offer Life Coaching, should you want it.
About My Training:
I’m a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and am supervised by Spectrum Therapy, where I trained extensively in ‘Humanistic Psychology’, including in Formative Psychology and Gestalt. I have a certificate in CBT from the Centre for Stress Management, and also got a Diploma in Psychology from the MSc course in ‘Human Development’ ( Jungian Psychology) from Birkbeck College, University of London. I trained as a Holistic Life Coach with ‘Coaching by De’Sign’.
I am particularly interested in working on addiction, abuse, stress, parenting, self-esteem, money issues, performance stress, writer’s block – but am happy to hear your story, whatever it is.
I also run workshops from time to time on:
- Everyday addictions
- Conquering stress
- How to say no
- Easy Mindfulness
- How to write your life
- Being a late parent
I am also trained in couples work. I can be contacted through the City Therapy Rooms or the Barnsbury Therapy Rooms:
